Brid Arban, a noble stag, blessed with many powers found these lands, followed by hid herd, mate and daughter. When he entered them he became possesed by the spirit stag with wonderous powers but the spirit did not take over his mind and he had free will. His daughter, Abrida Din, was his first born foal with his mate and her beauty was without compare. Many a colt had joined the herd in the hope that she would become his. In the spring-born filly's third winter, a myterious stag came to the herd, appearing in a snow storm. His heart was cold and evil but still he adored Abrida Din's beauty. He tried to charm her and succended. Farja, the young stag whom had started courting her the summer before, with Brid's permission, grew jelous and cold to the new stag, Kenth Afar. Kenth Afar appealed to her and charmed her but still she loved Farja also for his kindness and warmth.

As the spirit within Brid Arban grew stronger and immortaltly drew ever closer to him, Abrida Din's heart was falling for two stags, the dark, myterious, midnight black Kenth Afar and the sweet, kindly, dappled blue-grey roan Farja. Other young feas began to gather around the two, Kenth Afar gathering them as his own, Farja leading them with other stags tagging along.

Then, in the spring, when it seemed that Kenth Afar had won Abrida Din's heart and she resided with his herd, his true evilness shone threw. He mercylessly beat her and forcebred her.She escaped in horror to the lands where Farja resided with many good equines. He was still mateless but had many mares baring his foals and took her as his mate, baring Kenth Afar’s brat.

The following winter, Abrida Din gave birth to a dappled gold dun coltine. She dubbed him Arher Araz. Farja took him in as his own but the colt, though taught in the ways of the Lights, had an evil within him that was his birthright though his sire. But now the young stallion would not be accepted as a Dark because of his Light ways and was too evil for the life of a Light. He gathered a few mares of his own and started a herd with new lands.

Then Brid Arban, now the immortal Multi, heard of what had happened to his daughter and anger seized him. He cursed the land of the Kenth Afar and blessed Farja’s lands. Kenth Afar became King of the Darks with many foals born to him and Farja became King of the Lights. He and Abrida Din had five bantles together, 2 colts, twin fillies and other filly. Arher Araz became King of the Neutrals for their loyalty was undecided and considered confused.

This was the beginning of the three herds: The Lights, the Darks and the Neutrals.Their Descendants roam to this day, even after the Time of Terror, even Brid Arban’s daughter, his new heir, Adelar and her fellows

Where will your loyalty lie? Will your Destiny be to become a legend? Or to Blindly pass these lands and never return? Who will follow the Hoof prints of the ancient equines and who will be lost forever…
...Blind Destiny...
Aalaya was once the greatest warrior in the biggest herd in all known history. All was kind and good, since the lead was most peaceful. But one day, under a blood red sunset, a younger stag came and challenged the lead. Under the moon, the bright white moon, he killed the lead and claimed his position. This new lead had an aura of evil, and he convinced many to follow him. Turmoil now spread through the harem, and there was much fighting and forcebreeding everyday.

And this pressure caused alliances, even armies, to form. The kind and gentle, known to some as the Sacreds, resisted against the lead. The equines who were gentle at times, but evil at other times, later known as the Torn, did not know which way to turn. The evil ones, twisted into eternal darkness by the new lead, known to all as the Shadowed, were intent on destroying the bright world all had come to know.

The Sacreds, along with Aalaya, set out to find a new land, and create an even greater herd than before. But the lead had many spies. He caught wind of their plan and sent his loyal warriors to slaughter them all. Crimson blood stained the ground that night. Only Aalaya managed to reach the new lands, all others were slaughtered.

She found equines there, alliances already formed. She search for her two loved ones, Alizay, and Sha Har, but found no trace of them. Her generation witnessed the rise of the first great Kings of equines. Midnight Blue of the Sacreds, Blue Moon of the Torn, and Black Ice of the Shadows.

And from those great rulers came the ones who would decide the doom of their time. Forever Autumn, heir of Midnight Blues, rules over Silverstream Mountain as King of all Sacreds. He may be young in years, but strength, determination, and grace bless his veins. Though older, Blue Moon still rules the Torn. But do not be fooled by his age - this equine is as sharp and wise as the eagles that soar over the shadowy valley he reisdes in. Tocker, mate of Aalaya's daughter Jezebel, succeeded Black Ice's son Legesain after he was slain by Forever Autumn.

And it is into this madness you now plunge. Battles have begun, lives have been taken, and father and son fight against each other for the survival of their race. Will you cast your soul into the eternal shadows? Or will you follow the pathway to heaven? Either way, it's your turn to fight.
...Cresent Dreams...
This land used to be a peaceful land. It used to be ruled by lights and a few rebels. There was one gret lead named Adhir Badr. He was very wise and good. The herd grew under his rule. He had many loyal warriors. Including the dam and sires of Aalaya, Sha Har, and Alizay. But years passed and he grew old. A younger and sly stag befriended him. He had many followers. He appeared to all kind and just, however most of the warriors and warrioress knew better. They knew he was cruel and mean. But as Adhir Badr grew old so did his mind. He became a little slower at deciding things and leaned `pon the young horse, Nu'man, for making important desicions. All the horses saw Adhir Badr declining but nothing was said. Then one dark night the evil horses finally made their move, Nu'man killed the great lead in his sleep. Since then he and his followers have taken over. They rule the majority of the land. Most of the good warriors left and became rebels, tis why the darks leave them alone for the most part. And the regular horses whom were good left to the Hidden terras, praying for the day that the dark rule would crumble. Finally, all other horses to scared or power hungry stayed, their hearts became cold and they grew evil in time. There are a few good ones however whom reside in the dark but their heart is light.
Legends of the Night
Long ago in a land many moons away
twin foals were born to the maiden Windelleta and the mighty stag Crimson Dream, ruleress and ruler of the lands of Equestria. Upon their birth a prophecy was foretold - that one would become darker than night and the other remain pure and in the light. As the foals grew their dame decided to keep the prophecy a secret, not wanting them to think it must be fullfilled. But fullfilled it was - as all prophecies eventually are. And so the twins came of age, two years. Their parents smiled proudly, for now the two were free to explore the whole the lands, inside and out, as they would one day rule the lands together. But something happened that day. The younger, Wind Song, was met by a dark lord, Ressaunt. None are sure as to what happened during their meeting but she was never the same again. Wind Dancer, her brother, was the first to see her after the meeting. He was confused and shocked, for her once beautiful silver coat had turned to the color of dust, lost its sheen and brilliant shine. And her eyes...they too were different...they no longer danced with a flaming desire for life...no...they danced with the flame of death. Stunned and outraged Wind Dancer decided, as one of the heirs, to cast her into the outer rims of the lands, into the darkness she so obviously craved. And so time went on - and eventually Windelleta and Crimson Dream passed on into the spirit world and the lands, as promised, went to Wind Dancer and his sister, Wind Song. She had waited two long years for this time...the time when she could rise up and claim back the land that was partially hers. And so now you have a choice to make - who to join - the lights or the darks...choose wisely - you never know who will win.
